Charleston Birth Place is the Lowcountry's only free-standing birth center. Our center is independently owned by our nurse-midwife. All care is provided by certified nurse-midwives, using traditional midwifery principles. Midwives are experts in caring for healthy women experiencing normal pregnancies.
