We are proud to announce Judy Osborne CNM has joined Charleston Birth Place. She comes to us with many years experience as a nurse-midwife. Judy was the first nurse midwife to offer waterbirth in the Charleston area. We are blessed to have such an experienced midwife added to our staff.

As of June 5th we received our accreditation from The Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers.  Accreditation is seen as a symbol of excellence and is proof that Charleston Birth Place adheres to standards above basic licensure. We are now the only nationally accredited birth center in South Carolina.
